I’m Darlene with Dee Perry Designs. My purpose for blogging is to share my great love of sewing. It all started in the 6th grade, in my Home Economics class. any old school people remember this??? I was excited and fearful of making my first garment but I happily constructed my first pair of shorts and the rest, as they say, is history. Sewing allows me to express my creative side, which makes me very happy. I get lost when I’m at my sewing machine and serger. The wonderful thing about sewing is that you can make it your own. Whatever project you decide to make is tailored to your distinct specifications. It’s all about you and that’s why I’m hooked.
